I have seven years of teaching experience. This experience has been with individuals at different stages of education. I implement effective teaching principles in my sessions.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I start with an assessment of current state and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Business Management; and, I am currently working towards a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology. In the past seven years, I have taught High School Math (Algebra), High School English, Graduate School Prep, College Psychology,and Statistics. I have also worked as an English tutor for universities and worked independently as a tutor for the SAT (Math).
How did you get started teaching?
While in College, I started tutoring my peers in Math and Psychology, and I fell in love with it. I enjoy seeing the difference I help make in someone's understanding.
I also worked in a High School as an after school hours tutor for Math and English. I was then hired by my university as a Writing consultant.
Since being in Graduate School, I have taught Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, and Grad School Prep. I love the variety of my teaching experience.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from middle school all the way to college graduates. Most of my teaching experience has been with college students.
