Math Wiz
About
I provide personalized tutoring that is able to meet each student where they are. I always strive for progress in each session and are patient even if it’s taking the student some time to figure it out. I am very friendly, so I establish a comfortable atmosphere where students feel free to be themselves and still learn.
The most enjoyable part of my work is seeing the reactions on student’s faces when they get something right. I love to see them discover that they indeed can do it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first ask them questions and do some discovery. To see where they’re at, where they’d like to get, and I take it from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied math for 3 years in college. And I have been tutoring since I was in middle school. Math comes natural to me. Even if there’s a subject I haven’t seen in a while, it only takes about ten minutes or less of looking through the book and then everything comes back to me.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Starting at $30 for 30-45 minutes sessions.
How did you get started teaching?
I have a passion for helping people and what better way to do it then sharing my love for math with them.

students preparing for a test, students struggling to master a certain concept, or students just trying to get better and improving their grades.

Think of key concepts you’re struggling with.
