I have been teaching and tutoring English for over 10 years. I have taught large classes, small groups, and individual sessions, both in person and online. I have a Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I have taught in Tennessee, Michigan, and China! I love tailoring my approach to best help my students achieve their goals. I take a personable and fun approach to tutoring and take care to ensure that our time is used well and lessons are applicable to my students' needs and goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first begin working with a student I like to know their goals and what they are hoping to get out of their lessons. I also like to know how they learn best and what their interests are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and am just finishing the requirements for my certificate in elementary education.
