About
I am a senior at University of Michigan studying Art History (3.9 GPA). While I can write and edit papers with academic rigor, I also enjoy the nuances of journalism. I am the editor of the History of Art Society's annual publication and blog. I have been published in Umich’s leading fashion magazine and the art museum’s student blog. I am proficient in Chinese and currently studying Japanese.
I want to help students feel confident when confronting difficult course material and empower them to harness their individual writing voice and learn to write both professionally and creatively. I truly enjoy reading, writing, and editing critical essays. I want to be able to share this skill with people who strive to be better readers and writers.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work with students to edit and refine their writing. A new student might have an essay due, or an email to write that they can send to me to make edits and develop suggestions. From there, I will work with the student to help them achieve clarity without sacrificing their individual voice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an Art History student, I have to write many papers a semester. I have a 4.0 in my major and regularly get stellar feedback from my professors. My experience writing and editing for journalism qualify me as an editor.
