I enjoy helping students meet their goals and succeed! There is something s powerful in being able to help someone connect all the pieces that they need to meet a goal. I am honored to be a part of that process everytime I tutor a student!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I first get to know them and what they are hoping to get from tutoring. It is important to get to know the student and what interests them. Next I assess where the student is at in regards to their tutoring goals. I find it important to include the student in the planning / goal setting process so that they are able to take ownership of reaching their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology with a neuroscience concentration. With my education, I have much experience with English, writing/editing, biology, chemistry, and French. Additionally, I have experience tutoring students of all ages in all of these subjects.
