Ivy Ambitions

Ivy Ambitions is an academic coaching and college admissions consulting firm based in Lansing, MI, founded in 2007. It delivers one-on-one, customized support for students and families across the Greater Lansing area, including Okemos, Holt, and Haslett. Services cover elementary through high school and medical school applicants, including SAT/ACT preparation; tutoring in subjects such as chemistry, physics, and biology; college admissions planning; college essay coaching; and extracurricular mentoring. Founder and president Shashi Karve brings experience from IBM and Michigan State University and is a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), the Michigan Association of College Admissions Counseling (MACAC), and the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. Alumni have gained admission to institutions such as Harvard, Cornell, the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Carnegie Mellon.
