The Well is an education center that seeks the well-being of hearts and minds for the whole community by offering effective, loving academic support. By meeting our students right where they are, building upon their strengths, and supporting them with valuable learning tools, our experienced tutors help students become confident in their learning and experience joy in their success. We also offer Orton-Gillingham tutoring for students with Dyslexia.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We usually begin with a diagnostic assessment to help us determine what the student has mastered and where our starting point for tutoring should be. For Dyslexic students we follow the methodology and scope and sequence of Orton-Gillingham.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both tutors at The Well Education Center hold Masters Degrees. One tutor is Orton-Gillingham trained.
