Hi there! My name is Julia Moll and I hope to be your tutor! I have a BA in Special Education - Learning Disabilities and have a teaching focus in math. I have a strong history of teaching and tutoring and I hope to pass on useful study and learning skills to all my students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I spend a few minutes getting to know my new student. I want to see what their interests are to try to incorporate them into our lessons. I also want to find out the areas that they want to improve in and we will talk about how we can accomplish that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring my entire life and love working with children. I am a special and elementary education major at MSU and hope to work as a special education teacher after I graduate. I am a tutor in the Read to Succeed program at MSU and tutor an elementary student in reading and writing twice a week.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that is invested in you and your interests. Having a strong rapport with your teacher is the start of a great student/teacher relationship.
