Often students are required to learn subjects they will never user. I try to help student’s identity where the tools can be applied in real life and not just to pass a test.
I like to see my teaching efforts successful. Successful means that the student understands the entire process from start to finish. The student should be able solve problems and not memorize answers. Most importantly the student should be proud of themselves and confident that they can work independently.
