Science And English Tutoring

My approach is to meet students where they are by creating materials to which they can relate and engage. Not only does this make for a more enjoyable learning experience, but it also helps students to focus on understanding information rather than simply memorizing and regurgitating it.

I graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County where I majored in Biological Sciences and served as a supplemental instructor and a tutor.

I have 2 years of tutoring experience working with students ranging from 8-21 years old. I am comfortable tutoring in a range of subjects including Math, Science, and English. I have experience preparing for AP exams, SATs, and the MCAT.

I enjoy having break through moments with my students. That point in a lesson or session when they go from struggling with a concept to truly understanding it is invaluable. I view education as a lifelong investment and I want my students to feel the same way too.
