KA Tutoring is driven by helping students reach thier best potential. Helping children understand educational content and realize it's importance in their everyday life gives them hope for their future success. We specialze in K-12th grade educaton. Kelsey Andrews the owner of KA Tutoring is currently studying Childrens Psycology with a minor in english. We are commited to preparing more students for SAT's and producing higher rates of straight A students in our programs. The owner does one on one visits and weekend workshops at community libraries. Rates are based on finacial needs and ability to pay. Depending on students package workbooks can be included in sesions. We are willing to work with any family and any specail accomidations. I love getting to see the light in students eyes when they feel achomplished. Seeing the children that will grow up to be our future leaders, doctors, lawyers, enginears, local workers, ect, become strong independent learners is what I live for. I am determined to help ever student that comes my way achieve thier personal educational goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically I like to meet with the parent/parents and the child first to assess their needs. Then I begin with finding the root cuase of the childs missunderstanding with the content and try to break each topic down in a different way they were taught or the same way with different methods to help them better understand.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring students in my home and for families that I have Nannied for, for over five years. I am currently studying child psychology with a minor in English. I have experience with children of all needs and children with special needs and other learning disabilities.

Pricing is based per family and is decided after needs are assesed.
How did you get started teaching?
I have a long line of woman in my family that teach or have owned daycares. I grew up learning the importance of education and learning and love to help any family boost their child to success.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages from 4-18 years old. I also have worked with specail needs children and children who just need help with their educational confidence.
