About
Hey there! My name is Bekah Stone! I love to teach and help tutor people who need/want it. I believe that my positivity and encouraging spirit is just what kids need to thrive in school. I am a juinior at Lancaster Bible College in the Education department, and have three combined years of experience in the classroom and with private tutoring.
I love working with all children because of the experiences I had in school. I had some amazing teachers and private tutors who came along side me and helped me be the best I could be, and I desire to be that to students who may not have had that same experience.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually like to take the first session to get to know the student and his/her strengths and weaknesses in the subject that I am helping with. Once I have a general idea of what they specifically need help with, I like to start with the basics of the subject and work my way up with the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored several children in elementary and middle school, as well as completeing more than 75 hours observing and assisting in the classroom. I am curently interning at Rosedale Baptist School with the middle grades, and I coach middle school girl's volleyball.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge hourly, and the price depends on travel. For example, the price might be slightly higher for a student who lives farther away and desires tutoring.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with many different students ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade. I have worked with a child with learning disabilities, and a child that had a siezure disorder.
