My services stand out because I will not stop at anything short to helping my students understand their subject matter, assignments, and comprehension of test material. I partucarly excellent at providing reading and writing composition, in addition to havijng a strong science and math background. I am proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop CC, Adobe Acrobat DC and general computer knowledge as I have been in IT Help Desk for 5 years now.
I enjoy tutoring individuals because I enjoy working with others gain knowledge on certain subjects and provide a certain level of education for my students. I enjoy assisssting individuals reach and achieve their academic and/or career goals. My tutoring style is to work with students as much and as hard as possible until they grasp or learn the material.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, when working with a student, I like to gather as much information about the project or assignment they are seeking out help for. I then go over in detail the specifics of the assignment and type an outline of a study plan or assignment list with comprehension checkpoints. I also have testgenerators licensed through Pearson that allows me to test my student's on almostr any subject. This is super important because it tells me where my student stands in understanding the subject matter. Skype calls are also a large part of my tutoring platform.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in tutoring students since middle school and have tutored high school students as well as college aged students. I have expertiese in online tutoring as I have been tutoring virtually for 4 and a half years now and have receieved a 2020 top tutor award. I hold an associates degree in Developmental Education and a B.S. in Biology and Family/Consumer sciences.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge by the minute per 60 or 90 minute session so a 60 minute session would be roughly 60 bucks, depending a bit on how content dense the lecture material or study material is. But for average pricing it is a dollar per minute.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching after I joined the national honors society at a young age in the middle school. I was excelling in my courses throughout middle and high school as well as college and park of what helped me succeed so greatly was my constant contact with students and being able to learn while also helping other students improve their abilities in reading, writing, comprehension, literacy, mathematics, sciences, social studies, and many more subjects.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of students including those who suffer from development disabilities and those who do not have learning disabilities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you connect with and are comfortable with your tutor because this is imperative to you understanding the material and grasphing a full understanding of the content. If you dislike or are unsatisfied with your tutor, you have all rights to request a new one until you are satisfied.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Before talking to teachers about their needs, students should question their own abilities and see where their strengths and weaknesses fall. This is important because you want to communicate to your tutor your strong areas and not so strong areas that way you can spend more time on the information that you dont quite understand the first time around.
