I am a college student attending Johns Hopkins University with experience in helping others to improve their writing ability. In particular, I have had extensive experience helping others through the college application process, helping to both formulate and edit college application essays. I have worked with numerous people over the past two years, and I have helped them to get into schools like UC Berkley and Washingtion University at St. Louis. I also offer general essay tutoring outside of college applications, and I also offer SAT preperation help.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually spend the first meeting getting to know my student outside of the coursework, and towards the end of meeting 1 we will discuss what areas we will be working together on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a International Studies and Sociology major at Johns Hopkins Univeristy, so I have extensive experience writing essays, especially in an academic setting. Additionally, I have worked with the Matriculate program, which works to help low-income students get into college, so I have further experience in helping students with writing college essays as well as the whole college application process in general.

My standard price is $25 per session.
