After School Tutoring

I am a licensed middle school special education teacher who has experience teaching and assiting students in small-group and one to one learning situations. I can preview and review material learned in school, help with homework, and assist with the writing and editing process. As a special education teacher, I have experience with a variety of learning challenges students may face and I am able to differentiate material to fit each individual student's learning style. I have experience working with children ranging from preschool age to 8th graders.

I enjoy working with students and helping them to understand concepts that were previously challenging to them. I try to foster a love of learning and teach students to keep trying even when a task seems difficult.
