Tutoring math is my passion. Not just because I love it but because my students get the attention and differentiated learning approaches that are custom for them. My goal is to make math fun, to help students feel great about math skills. I start from what they already know and build upon that. This may sound kind of funny but I enjoy working myself out of a tutoring job that way I know my students feel confident that they can succeed in math and get a great foundation for their future academics. Part of my service includes creating a video of work that we had accomplished during the session. I then upload that video to my YouTube channel and provide that video for reference and practice for the student. I have been a math tutor for grades K through 12. I have also taken many math courses to improve my skill set in order to anticipate what the student may need to learn in the future. I hold several math teaching certifications, a Massachusetts teaching license, as well as taking standardized testing for Teacher certification in my goal is to maintain meticulous progress notes as well adapt well to the students strength and needs session by session.
