What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Arts in Teaching and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. I hold English as a Second Language license in RI and MA, and a History teaching licensures in MA. I also have ESL and English licensures in the state of Virginia. I am also trained in reading intervention programs used in MA public schools. I have taught English to speakers of other languages for 7 years in Charlottesville and Boston and surrounding areas. Currently a high school reading specialist in RI.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students grades 2-12 with varied academic needs and diverse profiles. I have worked with students in regular education classroom settings, special education settings, and settings for students receiving specialized English instruction.
