Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I meet with a new student, I get to know the student's learning goals, strengths, weaknesses, learning history, and learning style. I find out what the student wants to get out of the tutoring sessions and what the student needs from me. Once I have this information, I then develop a plan for learning the material that compliments the student's strengths and minimizes the student's weaknesses.
