Experienced K-12 ESL Tutor

I am a recent college graduate with extensive tutoring experience, especially with ESL students who are native Spanish speakers. I have three years of experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in classrooms and after-school programs, covering a wide range of subjects. I specialize in English Language Arts and Humanities, but I have experience tutoring students in math and science as well. I have also worked as a long-term Spanish substitute teacher at a local MA middle school. I understand the current dynamics of the classroom and state curriculum. I am a patient, caring individual who focuses on building not only students' academic abilities but also their confidence in their own work. My goal is to help students look at schoolwork as a fun challenge that they have the tools to master as opposed to a boring task.
