About
I am a special education teacher with a wide range of academic skills for kindergarten through 8th grade students. I am a passionate teacher who strives to make learning fun, personalized and interactive for all students. I have worked with student with an without disabilities, including students with Autism, Down Syndrom, Dyslexia, and other learning disbailities.
I love seeing students light up as they understand a new concept for the first time. I stive to make learning fun, and build a strong foundation for students to continue to love learning in the future.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first get to know the student. Their personality, interests and learning style are very important to help me individualize their instruction. I also speak with caregivers about what specific skills they are interested in improving.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree from Lesley University (PreK-8th grade Moderate Disabilities)
I completed my Master's Degree in Special Education and Autism Studies.
I have worked in Boston Public Schools and a private special education school.
