I am a special education teacher with a wide range of academic skills for kindergarten through 8th grade students. I am a passionate teacher who strives to make learning fun, personalized and interactive for all students. I have worked with student with an without disabilities, including students with Autism, Down Syndrom, Dyslexia, and other learning disbailities.
I love seeing students light up as they understand a new concept for the first time. I stive to make learning fun, and build a strong foundation for students to continue to love learning in the future.
Has done a great job of figuring out where my daughter needs the most help and targeting that area. Also, my daughter found her to be amicable and easy to work with.
She immediately connected with my daughter and instilled confidence in her from day one. I was so impressed at how she was able to explain things on her level, and she always came with TONS of great resources for my daughter that kept her going throughout the week until the next session. I also loved how she kept me updated on my daughters progress. In just around 2 months my daughter improved my approx 1 grade level. Amazing!
I first get to know the student. Their personality, interests and learning style are very important to help me individualize their instruction. I also speak with caregivers about what specific skills they are interested in improving.
