About
I offer help to anyone in elementary school struggling with math. Although I don't have fancy degrees in math, I am good at simplifying problems and equations so that younger kids can understand them. I'm great at patiently explaining things to other people. I know math not just from a number standpoint, but also from a creative standpoint too. By trying to pass on the motto that "Math is everywhere" I'm capable of making it fun for everyone. I can make math engaging and enjoyable for younger students and amongst lots of traditional math services, that's really unique!
I really enjoy working with younger students and empowering them through the creativity of math. Math isn't just numbers and formulas, it's creativity, and critical thinking. This is the motto that I try to pass on to younger students so that math becomes more engaging for them. I enjoy answering questions, explaining different concepts, and helping others, especially with math. I'm passionate about teaching others the magic of math, and for younger students sometimes passion is all it takes to become motivated and engaged in their math work!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
This is my first experience with tutoring so in the past, I have not worked with new students, however, I've watched many other tutoring classes, led by both my relatives and other YouTubers, I know the drill. After a hello, I'll ask them to tell me what in math they struggle with, and what they love about math. By talking about their struggles I will know what they need help with, and by talking about what they like in math, their minds will start to get excited. After this, I will answer any questions they have about this tutoring class, or about math, and then we will start working. In the midst of it, if they get tired, or need a short break then I'll recognize it, and allow them to have that so that their brains can take a short rest. I will try my best to get to know them, and be able to help them the best I can!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed 7 years of mathematics at Russian School Of Mathematics(RSM), and am currently a 9th grader. Although I haven't officially tutored people, I have helped many people with their math work, preparing me for tutoring. Everyone has their first time, and this is mine.

How did you get started teaching?
This is my first time teaching anyone mathematics officially. My mother is a math teacher, my father used to be a math tutor, and my grandparents used to be math teachers too. This has gone on for many generations in my family, which inspired me to do it too! I love working with younger children and explaining math concepts to them. Passion is one of the largest steps to becoming a math tutor, and with that, I can get anywhere!
What types of students have you worked with?
I haven't worked with students before.
