About this tutor

I have been privately tutoring for 6+ years and have specialized expertise in the following:

Math: Algebra, Pre-Calc, Trigonometry, Geometry, Calculus I II and III, Differential Equations, Engineering Math

Science: Physics, Statics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering

Exam Prep: SAT Math

Throughout my Masters program in Chemical Engineering, I garnered the ins and outs of mathematics and science. Outside of my degree path, I have taken a passion for learning that gives me a confident ability to teach and pass on the tricks of math and science!

For exam prep, having taken the SAT exam in the near past, I have confidence that I can improve any SAT Math score drastically with only a few sessions!

Academics is a long grueling mountain to climb. It should never be done alone. I enjoy using my experience and expertise from climbing the academic mountain to guide others up the same path! Watching a student go from discouraged, to slightly less confused, to passionate about a subject is one of the most rewarding and sought after moments for myself as a tutor!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Typically, pricing depends on the student needs. A difficult university level math course will require more time and effort compared to a freshman or sophomore level intro math course. The pricing fluctuates accordingly. I do offer discount packages so feel free to ask about those!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What am I struggling with exactly? Is it the entire course, a chapter, or even just a single concept?

Do I think I need on-going help to ensure I grasp all the concepts going forward?
