About
I have been teaching over 20 years both in the United States and overseas. I have taught English in Japan, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Poland.
Also, I have extensively traveled around the world and have only one continent left to hit; thus, I am very familiar with working with students from other countries. Additionally, I have my masters degree in ESL and have taught English to students from grades K- to university.
I try to make my lessons engaging, fun and beneficial to my students.
I love teaching and get a rush from seeing my students improve in their English--whether it is in reading, writing, listening or speaking! I still keep in touch with many of my old students and love that my students also teach me in return.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have a conference with them to see what their needs are as well as I do an assessment, so I have a starting point.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently and ESL middle school teacher. I am certified to teach K-12 as well as adults. Additionally, I have been a college professor.
