MXB Tutoring
About
I am a retired teacher having taught for 20 years. My last position of nine years was as a college Professional Tutor. I have tutored students of all skill levels and ages from elementary to adult including ESL and students with learning challenges. I pride myself on being flexible with my approach to supporting students. I believe all students want to be successful and it is my job to support each student to reach that goal. It is important to me to approach each student as an individual and to understand what a student needs to succeed. I use humor and laughter while tutoring but I am also demanding and set high expectations. I use the student's class material as well as my own materials during tutoring sessions.
I love seeing a student succeed, become confident and do well in school.
