I attended many math classes at a competitive high school and am now in college. I am in the STEM field and have learned that I love helping others learn. I want to help younger children with their math skills which are essential to the base of many different fields.
I like making people feel confident about themselves. Math especially can be daunting, but once understood, it is simple! I want to help students learn that they have the capability of learning math.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First determine goals for learning and what they currently know/are struggling with. Then create smaller steps to reach these goals. Create a schedule to keep practicing and strengthen skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked at Kumon Learning Center and am currently a Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Student at UMass Amherst.
