About
I graduated from MIT with a major in Computer Science and a minor in mathematics. I have taught various courses in mathematics, ranging from middle school to college contents. I am flexible with hours and am good with explanations and examples. I also help students with additional homework and outside-of-tutoring-hour support. My goal as a tutor is to support students who struggle in mathematics, whether it is school material or exam prep. I hope that my students can enjoy mathematics and do better in the subject with this service!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would typically take some time to understand their current ability and where in the process they are confused about. Sometimes it's a matter of practice and other times problems arise from conceptual misunderstanding. It helps to understand the bottleneck before moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have TAed multiple high school STEM courses and have been hired as Lab Assistant within MIT
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the difficulty of the course, the range of price can be from $30-$70/hr
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Please understand that I am absolutely trying my best to explain things in a way that you can understand. If it takes some time before our logics sync, it would be great if you could be understanding about it :)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I would highly prefer if you are honest to me about where you don't understand. It is fine if we have to go through the same concepts a couple times. It would be hard to move forward if you are dishonest to me about your understanding :)
