About
I have extensive experience teaching math and designing engaging and effective ways to deliver math content. I taught high school math in Denver, Colorado from 2009-2013. After that, I directed the math program for a network of public charter schools in Denver, where I designed our math courses and curriculum and trained all of our math teachers. I am currently a student in a doctoral program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
I loved teaching math, designing math curriculum, and training other math teachers. I'm currently a doctoral student and miss getting to interact with students. I love helping students achieve those "aha!" moments with mathematics.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I'll start with a "get to know you session" focused on the student's goals, current challenges, and learning styles and preferences. Based on this initial meeting I'll develop a tutoring plan which we'll review and finalize together.
