Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before working with a student, I learn two crucial things about that student. The first one is: what is the student passionate about? The reason many students struggle with math is not due to an inability to learn or retain the material, rather it's a result of a lack of interest in the subject matter. I cater my lesson plan and teaching to the passion of the student and you will be amazed at how quickly that same student learn the math. The other thing I find out is the learning style of the student, this also helps in the effectiveness of the session. As a result of these two key components, my students goes from a lack of interest in math to enjoying it, from failing to exceeding expectations.
