I've been an elementary school teacher for 9 years. I have also worked with the youth in other areas, like, camps, community centers, coaching, etc. I've also been the team leader to represent my school/grade in the district. I've been the after school activities coordinator for 1 year. I've also been on curriculum teams.
Helping students reach their potential. Making connections with them and their families. Seeing their faces when they realize that they get something.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Making connections is important first in order for them to trust you. Making them feel comfortable will help the process of learning. You need a welcoming environment in order to have success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's from Bridgewater State in elementary education. I passed all MTELs necessary. I also completed the SEI endorsement.
