About
I am currently a Math Teacher at Kenner Discovery High School. I've dedicated the past 15 years of my life to working with children of all ages. I have spent the past three years teaching in the New Orleans area. I have taught math to elementary, middle, and high school students. I have a passion for working with students and helping them grow and learn in life and school. Seeing that "ah-ha" moment is why I do the job I do. That, and to help my students succeed in life and school. If you have any questions please reach out, I am flexible.
Seeing that "ah-ha" moment is why I do the job I do. That, and to help my students succeed in life, in school, and beyond. I do the work because I discovered my passion 15 years ago and am lucky enough to have found myself in a position where I can work with children and positively impact lives.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to develop a good raport before digging into the material. I would then assess the student, determine the areas of concentration that need focus, and implement a plan of action to ensure the student succeeds with the task at hand in the future
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Finance. I have been teaching for three years. I have been in one teacher training program and I am in another one currently. I have worked with children for the last 15 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am flexible
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching because of the passion I have for working with children and to ensure a better future than when I was here.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students from all walks of life. I judge no one, and I treat everyone equally. I will never discriminate or turn down a student. I will do everything in my power to help the student succeed and prosper.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A beach trip with my family. The simple things in life are what I am fond of.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask questions. Make sure the person is there for you and not for themselves or the paycheck. Believe me, I am a teacher, and I don't do this for the paycheck. I do it for the reward of helping and watching students learn and grow.

Where do I have deficits?
