I bring a passion and an unmatched ability to prepare for each session and come in fresh with new ideas and plans for connecting and relating to students. I believe this makes it easier for students to learn and absorb the information easier. Also, I bring patience, positivity, and praise to students which I believe is crucial and provides a conducive environment for students to open up .

I have yet to work formally with students. But when I helped teach some students in university, I generally helped them learn the process of attacking a problem. I would establish that you should analyze and understand what the problem is asking for, then "go to your bank" of tools and thoughts (you may need to combine some of these tools to complete the problem) and manually and mentally work through the problem.
As for the process of adding to your bank of tools, this requires practicing and practicing problems that help hone those skills and tools. I would personally help them through the problems without giving them the answer. I believe it is key for students to work through the process themselves.
I have nor formal training, but I have found myself in positions that have allowed me to teach some friends and other students at the University of Wisconsin in Mathematics, Sciences, and even Economics. I also have helped my 9 year-old sister with her homework and studying, which has helped me with learning and teaching techniques.
I dont not have a pricing system currently, but look to do research and develop spreadhsheets as to how my time is allocated in preparation and how much a standard tutor with a specific experience and background is compensated.
Learning this topic will be difficult in the beginning, as all things are because not everything comes naturally. The student should be prepared to work through some difficulties and understand the the struggle with learning is part of the process, everyone has trouble with certain topics.
