Laura Jackson

Hi! My name is Laura Jackson. I have been a teacher for 25 years. I am currently teaching dyslexia instruction and reading intervention in grades 3-5. I am also certified in ESL (English as a Second Language) and have taught grades Kindergarten, 4th and 5th throughout my career. I have been a tutor after school for over ten years. I tutor in all subjects in grades 1st-5th. I love what I do and will continue helping children to grow academically with confidence as they progress in their education. I get to know each student and focus on what needs to be worked on to help the student be successful. Most of my students stay with me for 3 to 4 years. I develop a bond with my students so that they trust me and open up on stuff they have concerns with in school. I always want the students and parents to come to me for help whether it’s organization, studies or test prep. I encourage parents to discuss any concerns they may have at anytime. If you want your child to grow and mature academically then I am the right person for you!
