Hi! I am a Louisiana State University student and recipient of the school's most selective scholarship. I'm a journalism student with three years of experience tutoring English and Writing and lots of experience editing essays.
I love to talk through interesting and challenging topics! It is incredibly rewarding to watch people become excited about something they may have struggled with.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try to take a diagnostic approach when working with new students; I listen to them describe what they are struggling with, walk through it with them, and determine the best approach from there. This can mean working on specific areas of difficulty or teaching and learning a subject/skill.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a peer tutor for 3 years, and volunteer as a tutor at my college.

I typically charge $12/hour for tutoring sessions, but I charge a flat rate for essay editing and revision that varies by length.
