Hello everyone!
My name is Rhoda Inimgba. I am a graduate student at the University of Kentucky majoring in Biomedical Science. I also did my bachelor's at the University of Kentucky with a major in Biology and a minor in Math. During my undergraduate years, I realized the courses I understood the most and appreciated were those taught by professors and teaching assistants who enjoyed teaching them which made them exciting and engaging. This led me to become an undergraduate teaching assistant for the mathematics department at my university where I got to tutor multiple college math subjects ranging from algebra to advanced calculus.
I have been tutoring professionally for six years now and have had great success with all my students. I am also a Teaching Assistant in the General Chemistry department at my University. I have also taught small peer groups with students who needed additional assistance in college algebra and other science subjects. In this setting, I was able to tutor subjects such as general chemistry, organic chemistry, calculus, statistics, and biology.
I want to benefit the students I tutor as much as possible. I will go over concepts and be happy to help with assignments and set up extra dates before major exams.
