Kendrick's English/Reading Tutoring
About
I am a young proffesional. Im a preschool teacher at a private preschool. I am well equiped and prepared to help your student reach their academic goals. I have a passion to help students learn. I have references of proffesors who have taught me how to do what I do. I have former bosses, and current emloyers who will vouch for me.
I enjoy my work because of the people it brings across my path. When you tutor, normally you get to know not just the student but their family also. I personally think its so great when a student who is struggling with a concept has that "ahah" moment where they understand. I enjoy tutoring because I get to be a part of the awesome group of people who have the privilage to help educate and mold the mind of young learners.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I meet a new student and their family I typically try to establish an apprpriate relationship to get things started. This helps the parents give me information on what the student needs. It also gives an oppurtunity to get to know the student some before starting our tutoring journey.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a preschool teacher in a private preschool. I have past tutoring expirience, and I am well equipped to help your child.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am willing to work with the family on pricing. Normally I charge $13 an hour. I also dont want price getting in the way of a student learning so I am flexible with prices.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly students who need help with reading.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
A student who is going to discuss their needs with a teacher needs to consider a few things. They should decide what their need is, how important the need is. Then the teacher should give ideas on how they would assess the need.
