I enjoy helping others learn how to write effectively and creatively. Writing is one of the most important skills one can posses in order to be successful in school, the work force, and in life. I am a psychology major with a 4.0 GPA and have vast experience in writing research papers, essays, AP English papers, and in taking English exams. I scored a 4/4 on my AP English exam and can transfer my experience to you through tutoring.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We would go over the topic or subject her or she is struggling with and discuss what aspects of the subject are hard to understand. We would write practice essays or use practice tests, because practicing by example is an effective way to learn material.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a psychology major with a 4.0 GPA and I graduated with honors from highschool in the top 10%. Psychology is a writing intensive course, which means I have experience in writing research papers, reflections essays, and other forms of essays.

A rate of $30 an hour. Price can be negotiated.
How did you get started teaching?
I tutor friends at my university and found that I have the ability to teach English effectively. Friends and classmates have asked for help and that's where I began tutoring.
What types of students have you worked with?
Highschool and college students, but I am open to tutoring any age.
