What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For younger students (elementary school) I like to start with a set of books including fun songs, technique building, and music theory. I believe young students learn best when they have a familiar structure to their lessons, and clear expectations about practice.
For older students (teenagers and adults) I like to start with a discussion about goals. Then I can recommend specific books that are best in helping them gain the skills they are most interested in
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have training in child development and child psychology classes, curriculum design and instruction.

Nope. Very flexible on my paying standards.
