About
I am passionate about languages. I love teaching English (including ESL and ESOL). I also really enjoy Spanish. I want to help students become as passionate about these subjects as I am.
I have enjoyed tutoring many students in English over the years. I have had 6 long term students who I have tutored in many things. 4 of these students were in the ESL or ESOL programs in their school. I also love learning new words in Spanish. I am working hard to become fluent in Spanish. I have taken a total of 8 semesters of Spanish in high school and college. After college, I have continued my studies in Spanish.
More recently, I have taught ESL and ESOL online. I am very passionate about teaching children English because I believe it will open doors to them to do so many things in their lives.
I love to see students learn. I love the twinkle in their eyes when they learn something. It is very rewarding to me to watch students learn.
I have a bachelor's of arts degree in Elementary Education.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With a new student I would first look at what they know and what they need to know. From there I would work with them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Elementary Education degree. I have tutored 6 long term students and many more short term students.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always wanted to teach. Since I was very little I have taught siblings and even parents and grandparents. I have just always enjoyed it.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with many ESL and ESOL students. I have also worked with a few students in title 1.
