About
I have been a high school math teacher for over 10 years. I graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S in Mathematics and Secondary Education, and then received my Masters in Student Development. I have taught everything from 6th grade math to Calculus 3. I tutor everything from Pre-Algebra to Calculus.
My classroom is a place of encouragement and a safe space to make mistakes, and this is how I structure my tutoring as well. I can help with anything from homework help to how to understand a concept. I love teaching. I love helping students achieve their goals and gain confidence.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in the state of Kansas to teach 6-12 Mathematics. I also have a Bachelor's in Mathematics along with my Secondary Education degree which lays the foundation for a stronger math background.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students 6th grade to freshman in college. I have experience working with students who need additional supports to students who are trying to achieve 1 more point on the ACT for scholarships. I have a passion for helping students be more confident in math and strive to make every meeting positive.
