About
As someone who has struggled with ADHD my whole life, I'm never one to give up on a student or view them as hopeless. As long as they're willing to put forth the effort, I'm willing to teach them to the best of my ability.
Tutoring others in math has been enjoyable since I was in elementary. It feels nice to share my knowledge about the subject and help others gain a deeper understanding of it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Asking what the student is looking for in a tutor and what their short and long term goals are for the experience. After which, discussing schedules on when to meet up and building a plan together to work towards their discussed goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Mathematics from the University of Kansas, and have tutored over 100 students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30/hour is my online rate, $40/hour if it's in person. I charge a 1 hour minimum, but any subsequent hours are charged in 15 minute intervals.
How did you get started teaching?
I've tutored others from a young age. When other kids struggled in class I would be there to help them through it, and that eventually led to me becoming a tutor.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with young students, old students, students earning their GED, or working to obtain their Doctorate. Whether they have trouble focusing or are a bit slow to grasp certain concepts.
