About
Hi! I’m a senior Aerospace Engineering student with a deep appreciation for the power and beauty of mathematics. As an engineer, I use advanced math every single day, from calculus and differential equations to physics-based modeling. Mathematics touches and influences almost everything I do both in my coursework and outside the classroom in a number of projects ranging from leading an international rocketry team and working on our university's Cube Satellite project. In between my classes, I tutor because I genuinely love the subject and want to pass on both my skill and enthusiasm to others.
Over the course of my degree, I’ve built a strong foundation in algebra, geometry, Calculus I–III, and engineering physics. More importantly, I understand how these fundamentals connect to real-world problem solving. Math isn’t just something I study — it’s something I actively apply in my aerospace coursework and projects.
I wasn’t naturally gifted at math. I had to work for it, ask questions, and lean on tutoring myself and that is exactly why I teach the way I do. I bring patience, empathy, and clarity to every session because I know what it feels like to struggle and then finally get it. I firmly believe that with the right support and approach, anyone can become confident in math.
I also have extensive experience working with teens and young students, and I love building encouraging, productive learning relationships. My goal isn’t just to help students get the right answer — it’s to help them truly understand, build confidence, and maybe even enjoy math along the way.
I’m excited to work with you!
