About
I love teaching. For as long as I can remember I've always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with anybody who would listen. Officially speaking, I've never tutored before, however I've helped many of my friends with their school work throughout the years. I'm a fairly accomplished student, completing college level calculus and chemistry before graduating high school. I've also taken physics classes and have a nack for algebraic (physics) equations. I play the piano and have written several pieces for piano and voice. I've received a 5 (best possible) on the AP Chemistry, AP Calc 1, and AP Calc 2 tests.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I go more on a case by case basis. In general though, I'll ask him/her what he/she needs help with, and we'll start from there. Any hurdle my students reach I help push them through. I guarantee that my students needs are met, or your money back. Period.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
AP Calculus 1/AB --- Test score: 5/5
AP Calculus 2/BC --- Test score: 5/5
AP Chemistry --- Test score: 5/5
I was bored out of my mind in all of these classes. I have been doing mathematics for longer than I can remember. I have always been curious about how things work; this curiousity has driven my learning in science and math. You'll have to see it to believe it.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My time is valuable. I'm sure there are cheaper options out there, but if you want quality tutoring and peace of mind, TutorZen is your only option. My hourly rate is $50, and my sessions are prorated. If your session lasts 45 minutes, I will still charge for the full hour.
How did you get started teaching?
Over time, people began to ask me for help with homework problems and test answers and such. I naturally became accustomed to teaching and helping other students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students in a vast range of subjects including basic math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, chemistry, physics, general science, and biology.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
None! Ask me anything you like and I'll do my very best to help you with it. There's no wrong answers, no wrong questions; just learning.
