About
Greetings, I'm Tae, an enthusiastic math tutor holding a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Kansas. During my college years, I proudly earned the title of state collegiate math champion, reflecting my deep passion for the subject. Additionally, I've demonstrated my proficiency by successfully passing actuarial exams P, FM, SRM, and PA.
In my current role as a math instructor at a well-known Learning Center, I specialize in guiding high school students through AP math subjects. My expertise extends across pre-6 math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, calculus, and pre-calculus, as well as SAT and ACT math preparation. I take pride in delivering fluent explanations and addressing specific challenges that students encounter, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of mathematical concepts.
One aspect of my teaching philosophy revolves around patience, particularly when working with younger students. I believe in providing them with ample time to grasp foundational concepts and encouraging them to explore the "why" behind each mathematical idea. By nurturing their curiosity at an early age, I aim to unlock their inherent mathematical potential.
Beyond merely improving grades and exam performance, my goal is to instill a deep appreciation for mathematics in my students. I find great satisfaction in contributing to their academic journey and fostering a lasting understanding of mathematical principles. If you're interested in discussing how I can tailor my approach to support your student's success, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact on their mathematical growth.
