I am a 66 yr old grandma. I have helped my children and grandchildren learn to read. I loved reading when I was a child and now as a senior. I can help kids learn bowels, verbs, pronouns and etc...... I have a great sense of humor and use it to help students. Just being a boring tutor is no fun for anyone. My formal education ended many years ago. But it is hard to lose allergies you have learned. Especially if you enjoy reading.

I’m currently working in getting my doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction so I tutor to avoid taking out a college loan. I typically prefer elementary aged students but I am happy to tutor up to 8th grade (up to 12th if it’s for a student with special needs).
