Adaptive Academics is a small, local tutoring company serving students K-12 in math, reading, science and ACT prep. All of our sessions are in person and take place at local libraries. Founded in 2023 by Jordan Raglow, we have been providing students 5-star service from day one. Our tutors are highly qualified and content experts in their subject areas. No two tutoring sessions are exactly alike, as we design and adapt lessons to each student's individual learning needs. From test prep to study skills, from struggling readers to math enrichment, and everything in between - we have you covered!

I am currently studying music at university and have played violin for 9 years in various orchestras since grade school. I am also a visual artist and am very knowledgeable on the subject of the arts. Much of my work requires discipline, patience, and passion for being involved- and these qualities make me a great candidate to be a tutor for students. Besides my involvement in the visual and performing arts, I enjoy reading nonfiction literature, biographies, and histories which all exercise my critical thinking abilities and strengthens my vocabulary. Essay writing and penmanship are also both areas that I excel in.

I am a 66 yr old grandma. I have helped my children and grandchildren learn to read. I loved reading when I was a child and now as a senior. I can help kids learn bowels, verbs, pronouns and etc...... I have a great sense of humor and use it to help students. Just being a boring tutor is no fun for anyone. My formal education ended many years ago. But it is hard to lose allergies you have learned. Especially if you enjoy reading.

I am a special education resource teacher in Overland Park, KS. I’m certified both in K-12 SPED and K-6 General education. I have worked as a tutor after school for about a year now but I’d like to grow the number of students that I’m tutoring each week. I’m currently working in getting my doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction so I tutor to avoid taking out a college loan. I typically prefer elementary aged students but I am happy to tutor up to 8th grade (up to 12th if it’s for a student with special needs).
