About
I let the student lead their teaching. I strive first to understand the student and help them see where they are struggling. My main goal is to make them excellent learners for long term success
I've always loved teaching. I can't help getting excited when someone has that break through realization where it clicks. I think learning is a very beautiful process and has lasting impacts that encompass the direction of one's life and perception of themself. Getting to contribute to that is incredible.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assess learning needs and meet them where they are getting stuck, then give them the tools and confidence to move past each step.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
College education, special needs tutoring, general tutoring
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Just a college student who loves to learn, and will take any price over $10 (which beats university rates). I like when the employer sees the value in my tutoring and sets the price point they aee appropriate and affordable.
How did you get started teaching?
I've naturally found myself teaching my friends in school since childhood. I had two wonderul younger brothers that I aided, one non-verbal autistic, who I spent a lot of time with developing life and communication skills. I find it very rewarding to teach and went on to tutor in most subjects, in ice hockey, and in music. I invite any opportunity to help someone learn and to improve my own understanding along the way.
