Intermediate To Advanced Math, Science, English, History, And Violin Tutoring
About
I've been tutoring struggling students for years. My students always see improvement. I can work through problems with students and help them study so that they understand the content and will be able to do it on their own. I have experience tutoring students in all subjects at all levels. I have tutored students with learning disabilities and am able to create a program specific to the student and his/her goals.
I’m an honors student with extensive knowledge of higher level mathematics, English, science, and history. I’ve also been playing the violin for 13 years and am a first violin in the higher orchestra at Valparaiso High School.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know the student, what they are struggling with, and their abilities. After that I can form a plan to help them achieve what they’re after.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate is $20/hour
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with students at all different levels, with all different needs and abilities. I’ve worked with special education students and many general education students. Sometimes the students I work with simply need help with organization or school in general. Sometimes students need help with something very specific such as studying for the SAT. Whatever the case, level, or ability I’m confident in my ability to work with and help the student in whatever he/she may be struggling in.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would make sure that teacher is incredibly knowledgeable in the subject and has sufficient background. If not that person will not be able to help.
