About
I'm a young educator that brings enthusiasm and strong relational skills, yet I have years of experience working with, teaching, and tutoring youth.
I have all of the education and experience of a HS math teacher that I'm able to personalize to each student. I enjoy getting to help students see why learning math is valuable, and give them the confidence that they can succeed in doing math.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I enjoy getting to know the students I work with so that I may best support them. Then as we start tutoring I begin to assess and plan how to best academically support this student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Mathematics Education from Taylor University. I also received tutor training at Taylor Univeristy so that I could be a tutor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My starting rate is $40/hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I love math and working with students so I got my degree in Math Education. I think math is such an awesome and important tool for everyone, so I get excited to help others excel in skills such as problem solving.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have tutored and taught middle school students all the way through college students at all levels of math ability.
