I will also move at the pace that works for them. Whether it is homework help, reading practice, vocabulary building, study skills, grammar, or writing I will help your child move forward at a pace that works for them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I speak with the parents to see what their concerns are. Next, I will have a talk with the student and do a brief assessment of their skills. I will also try to get a feel for what they want from tutoring, how they usually study and what helps them learn. Then I will try to find out what their interests are. The next lesson will be built from what I learned during the first meeting. Then lessons will progress according to how things go from lesson to lesson.
