Hello! I'm Rachel and I'm 15 years old, which would make me a great fit to help connect with and understand students my age and younger!
I'm at the top of my honors double-advanced math class.
I placed 71st in the State Competition of Mathcounts, a prestigious national math competition.
I help my struggling classmates often, and they even say that I explain things better than the teacher!
I love helping people improve and better themselves. I hope to connect with students and make math pain-free!
She’s always willing to help, she’s super good at making sure you understand concepts and simplifies things so that they make sense.
Rachel is an absolutely wonderful tutor! Her ability to apply to anyone’s skill sets and still be able to help them is truley amazing. She is over two years above her grade level in school, and still manages to understand everything. At any level of math, not only does she understand it, but is able to explain what she is doing in several different ways. As someone who has struggled in math for the past two years in math, Rachel has really been my backbone to help me through everything. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone. I know lots of people would go for adult tutors, but the fact that she is a teen allows her to easily connect with all her students. I promise that if you go with Rachel, not only will your students grade improve, but they will also begin to love this beautiful world of math! I have failed again and again, and now with Rachel’s help I went from a D in Honors Geometry to an A, and got an A+ on my latest test! Thanks Rachel!
She was very patient when I didn’t understand things and always found a way to explain them.
Really takes time to make sure you understand everything as clear as possible. NEVER gets frusterated or angry with you. Very kind and helpful. She is also very smart and good at explaining.
